Stephanie S. Sanders grew up on an Iowa farm where she ran positively wild and barefoot most days. She spent her time exploring in the woods, cornfields and streams near her home. Wherever she went, a notebook and pencil usually went with her.

Her favorite stories are fantasies filled with magic, dragons, castles, wizards and adventure. She draws inspiration from her family: a wonderful husband, two creative daughters and an awesome baby grandson.

Today, Stephanie lives in Michigan with her husband. She is the owner of a shop on Etsy where she sells printable journals and craft papers. She is also the author of Villain School: Good Curses Evil—which was nominated for a Grand Canyon Reader Award—and the sequel, Villain School: Hero in Disguise.
